Hi everyone, having an issue with wheel chatter noise and vibration when turning left, right is ok.
It only happens when empty, everything seems fine when loaded. I have recently did an 3 axle alignment and we weren't able to align forward drive Axle as we ran out of adjustment, rear axle barely made it, steer is good too. No worn-out bushings, no signs of broken springs either. Truck pulls to the right before and after alignment. I wonder if that chatter has something to do with the misaligned Axle since it does it (not all the time) when turning left. Print out indicates that left side of the forward Axle should be pushed towards the back of the truck.
My major concern is running out of adjustment (this is eccentric washer type not the shims) what else would you guys check to make sure all bases are covered, alignment shop tells me that the right side (passenger) is at fault. Adjustment is available on the driver's side only. This is 2013 Volvo vnl day cab.
Thanks in advance
