Change the oil and put a shut-off in the fuel line between the tank & carb. Like AMod said, the bouncing is causing fuel to fill the cylinder (float/needle valve) and drain down into the oil. A fuel shut-off is needed to stop this, just remember to turn it on & off...

This is so true. Used to shoot with 60’s era 870. The boys with the snazzy ones laughed, until they got knocked out in the first round.

That's a very good gun, The 60's were the best years for the 870s. People still gave a #### about quality

You familiar with Jordan Peterson? He's got it figured out...

Funny you brought it up. On my 7 hour towing trip the tow truck guy laughed and said he does most of his driving when the weather is the worst. He's gotta see down over the nose. No long hood there LOL

Peterson has some stuff figured out but not everything. Keep an objective mind when listening. He's just as fallible as the rest of humanity.

Ever have one of those days, where for some unknown reason it takes 5 hours to put on a 30 minute load. During this time it’s like 100 degrees, and your sweating. All tied down and ready to roll, of course it’s rush hours now. So you drive, pass your first opportunity for a shower and food, but you can see the lot is packed. You end up getting to your last option, with 19 minutes on your 14. Now you go in for a shower. You get the water temperature to that spot, the spot, and you end up standing there. Just standing under that spray of just right water. Then it gets all interrupted by some maintenance/cleaning person banging on the door and wanting to know if your all right. Ok, so it was a little over 45 minutes. Not like it was an hour or more. Geez.

Happens to me all the time. I very much enjoy my shower time. That is my uninterrupted me time. I once fell asleep in the shower. I had a maintenance guy come in and wake me up.....he physically shook me....while I was in the shower. Prolly thought I was dead. I was in there for hours. Literally slumped over sleeping. It was a very long crappy day and I remember it well. That was years ago.
