When you find a painter, make sure it’s Imron painted. You’ll never regret it. It will last longer than the truck.

 

Imron is great, but Dupont Chroma has been real good to me as well.

 

Orange peel is Orange peel make sure you choose a good experienced painter..

 

Whats the average price range on a paint job these days?

 

Very true. To me orange peel sticks out like a sore thumb. Nice thing about a quality base clear is the clear can be shot wet and if it runs here or there it can be wet sanded and buffed out.

In our area a decent paint job runs from 6 to 16k and I can't tell much difference in the quality of the two. Time may tell.

 

Pretty steep I'd imagine. Maybe 8k ish on the cheap end for 1 color. Spent like 2500 on supplies to paint the 93 in my avatar
