Maxx Mount GPS and Large Device Holder

I dremeled off the suction cup tab and drilled a hole through the center for a bolt, suction cup worked well for quite a while, but eventually the surface i wanted it mounted at was uneven.

This one is about 6 years old

I’ve used magnibuddy for three years and had 0 issues. The sticky mounts work great

    I use this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-Wireless-Charging-Car-Vent-Mount/474045233

You lay your phone against it, and the arms on the sides close against it. If you want your phone back, brush your finger against the silver button on the side, and the arms open up. I took a piece of strap steel and bent it 90*, drilled a couple holes in it, and mounted it to my dash using existing screws. Nice and sturdy.

The mount is vehicle specific and generally doesn’t require drilling into your dash. The mount is interchangeable with different devices as it is a two part mount. The Ram Mount is what the carrier I am leased to attached their ELD to and it is very heavy duty, but required drilling in to the dash.

I make my own out of tin. I have a piece of 1/2” steel plate I use as template. Made one for each of my vehicles as well as screwing them to dash of company truck….

The Falcon 4 cam system. I used another system for almost 5 years and really no issues if you weather proof the outside connections. 777FC9BD-A634-4BF3-8291-50B0EAE0BD3B.png

I have an I-bolt (probably spelled wrong) too but it's a tablet mount. It's pretty good.

By far the best cell phone mount I've ever had was made for a Jeep by a Jeep accessory company but it is amazing and it's artwork too.

They are called 67 designs and they aren't cheap. When I sold the Jeep I kept the mount and put it in my truck. It's the most solid, best looking one I've ever seen.

If you want a super solid billet aluminum setup made in the USA vs. the plasticrap from China this is it.
