Where is everyone #5

I realize they are nothing new. However, they are a fad. Like kale was.
I read an article awhile back about it. I looked, can't find it. If I remember correctly it started because of a crop in California that needed sold. So the farmers got together and started an ad campaign. Like all ad campaigns do, pretty much said you need this and can't live without it. They glamorized it. Something like that anyways.

 

Right now most parts are scarce. It took me 3 weeks to gather enough Shocks to do my truck. Almost didn't get an ac line....as @Lysdexis also found out.

You should see what the hipsters do with avocado. Pretty much everything......lol

 

uh, sure

the avocado trees are so valuable that people will steal them.

if by fad you mean been consumed for more than 50 years, then I guess. And so we are clear they are delicious and Sam Elliott doesn’t even do their marketing campaign.

 

Also rich in protein and better tasting.

Train connects downtown to everywhere in the north and west zones of Rio...





The red arrow points to the statue of Christ on top of the hill... That is in the south zone of the city... I was north of that.



Some beautiful trees here... reminds me of Savanah in GA...



There's a huge fenced park in the background, a museum inside and the Zoo nearby... Folks, families and all have picnics, barbecues in there...





That's a sewage canal... runs thru some areas in the city...



The very old, dirty empty building on the right used to be the old train station... it has been under some kind of construction for I don't know how long...

Apparently not according to the dealer....I asked. Eventually they found the last one in the US and had it overnighted.
