The ECM is a computer and very sensitive to moisture. It’s ok to wash under the hood but be careful around it. It should be impenetrable to moisture but unfortunately it’s not. I have heard this before.

    Yep
I was just gonna say, stop gettin a truck wash , save the $$ and keep rolling.

it usually doesn’t look much better after the wash anyway.
There’s a reason the blue beacon truck wash is called “the streakin’ Beacon “

No I don't get engien wash to often I'm guessing it's just water that lands around with all the hoses they use

I steam clean the engine of every vehicle I've ever owned, engines of trucks, heavy equipment etc and have never once had a code or issue arise because of it. You can spray water all over that engine and wiring with no worries. Its when you stick the wand tip 6 inches away from that stuff that you cause damage. Keep the tip 2 or 3 feet back it should never been an issue.

You need someone with computer to figure out what sensor cause STOP ENGINE and check sensor rubber cover.
