    Hello I was wondering if I get a commercial insurance policy under my moms name and I am listed on the policy will I be able to get my authority .

    The insured on the policy needs to match the name of the entity applying for authority. What are you trying to hide?

    Not trying to hide anything but its fairly cheaper to obtain a policy

    I understand I appreciate your encouragement . However im very independent and successful this is just a new venture for me so im just looking for positive feedback .

    Someone with more wheel time than me may know better, but I'm pretty sure the insurance holder and the authority applicant must be one in the same.

    No you can’t.

    My experience Is this fact, because you are asking this question, you are going to fail.

    Recommend to you that you get at least a few years driving for someone else before you even consider moving independent- either leased to a carrier or with your own authority.
