    Did you ever get this fixed. I'm having the similar issue but i see my display trying to fire up and it blinks. Could use some help.

    Its been a long time ago and I have a different truck now. But I think I replaced the readout from the instrument cluster. Take out the dash cluster and get the number off the display then it unplugs and unscrews from the dash.
