Haven't been on here for a while, been busy running the roads. I run all over the country and have noticed some consistent dead spots. I have T-Mobile for service oh, they suggested I get a new phone which I did and that still has not improved my coverage ( running 4G). So I checked into signal boosters, I planned on getting a Wilsonoh, but when I contacted them they couldn't tell me where all they had them for sale I just had to call around the places which got old quick. So I contacted a CB shop (Larry's CB shop on n.e. side) I was in the Dallas Texas area. After talking to the owner I stopped in and bought a smooth talker X6 that someone else had ordered but never picked up so I got a good deal on it. Took a couple of days thinking about how I wanted to install it, went to the hardware store got a few minor things. I actually have the whole system installed inside of the truck. It's done pretty good so far going along I-10 West from San Antonio to El Paso where it's pretty desolate and I normally have some coverage lapse. I'd say about a 20% improvement over all and having at least some kind of signal where a lot of places I didn't have signal before. I told the guy I bought it from if it was any good I would put a review up on truckers report so I've kept my word I put an honest review up maybe this'll give somebody else some good feedback or possibility of ideas but I guess if you have any questions I'll try to answer them. This has been my personal experience

I have Wilson Drive Reach OTR and the thing is doing what was supposed to do. I drive everywhere and I can tell first hand experience after 1 year of use that the thing is an animal. I don't regret the money I spent on it.
One thing though, when there is no signal AT ALL because there are no towers for tens of miles the booster is useless. It can't boost nothing. The thing needs the slightest grain of signal to boost it. I drove for 6 hours in an area with absolute zero signal before having the booster. With the booster in the same area I added only around 3 hours with no signal at all. I'm talking here about the very North of Quebec where there is absolutely nothing.

I just got the newest 4G/5G set up. I have not installed it yet but will do so shortly. The other booster worked great as well.
