Who's going to unload the trucks?
Flat Earth Trucker, bentstrider83, Lumper Humper and 1 other person Thank this. -
I guess the cost will be the responsibility of the shipper or receiver. Never really thought of it by why are we paying the cost to load or unload a product?
That should be on themolddog_newtricks, nredfor88, Trucker61016 and 12 others Thank this. -
The cost is always the responsibility of the shipper/receiver unless you signed a contract stating that you were responsible. If you are paying for lumpers out of pocket......you are doing it wrong.
-
Guess I should clarify..my company paysLumper Humper and slow.rider Thank this.

And im sure your company gets reimbursed by the broker who then tacks it on a bill to the shipper who has already taken that expense into account when selling his product... Therefore the recievers are paying for the lumpers anyway... So why dont they just cut out all the middle men.nredfor88, Trucker61016, tscottme and 11 others Thank this.

Could this be the silver lining of the ABC test? Lumpers become employees of the receiver?

Yep that's the deal, they now want to make everyone an employee with benefits, that's really what's driving itbentstrider83, dunchues, Lumper Humper and 1 other person Thank this.
