One hour a day on the phone !
Is that just talk time ?
Does Texting time count when parked ?
Internet time on the iPhone ?
Can you drive with one earpiece in listening to YouTube, Podcasts, Radio etc ?
Can you use the CB while driving ?
Each of these individual factors can make a big difference.
So let us know when you Walmart drivers get a chance.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
You can text and talk as much as you like while you aren't driving. The 60 min rule is while truck is in motion.
As far as internet and podcast. I never had an issue with that while driving. But I left before the cameras came. So im not sure how they feel about that now. And 98% of the trucks don't have a CB.Last edited: Jun 15, 2021

I’m not trying to be smart but if all these items are that important to you. I feel very certain Walmart is not the place you’re looking for.truckdriver31 Thanks this.

As stated already, it's one hour of cumulative talk time while on the drive line. No more than 10 minutes at a time, totally no more than 60 minutes during your shift. There is no limit on the amount of time you spend on the phone while not driving. There is also no limit on using your phone to stream..whether it's music or podcasts via Bluetooth to a headset or your radio...no limit on that. Yes you can drive with one earpiece, and yes you can yak on the CB to your hearts content.Jimi Page and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Ok, that’s not bad.
Though technically, if your hands free, then talking on the phone is no different that talking to a passenger or on the CB.
But it must get them a lower insurance rate.
Thanks for the info.
