Stop engine immediately

Water is obviously getting somewhere it shouldn't and probably shorting out a sensor or something. Do you ever have problems when driving in the rain? If not tell them to keep the hood shut when washing. Or get it washed making it act up and then take it to a shop and have them hook computer up. Should be able to narrow it down

 

The beacon always asks me if i want the engine washed. "No thank you" everytime. I'll do that myself. The one time i had it done I didn't think she was gonna fire but it eventually did. Held up the line for about 20 min

 

Take the truck to a cummins dealer and tell them what is going on. They will most likely replace the entire engine harness or repair the leaky connector that plugs into the ecm.

and stop washing the engine.

Just washed another electronic engine and aftertreatment. No codes or issues yet again.

 

Hello there I have a Paccar mx 13 on my truck. And this morning the "stop engine immediately warning " came on and then within 5 seconds shutt off by itself. After 3 hrs am still stuck. After it turned off another warning " engine derated service required "
