So im considering ordering a new 389 long hood Pete and I have a color scheme and colors already picked out in my head but im not sure if they will allow colors outside of what they offer. The colors id like to use are factory Ford colors and I have the paint codes written down. Does anyone have any experience with this?
side question: I also heard a rumor that you will no longer be able to get analog gauges and all the trucks will come with the new digital LCD dash. Anyone know if this is true?
Will Peterbilt allow custom paint colors?

If you are getting a custom Peterbilt then I would assume they would allow a custom color. But I am not totally sure so I might be wrong.

I would tell them ‘no custom paint job, then no purchase’.

At this point they are sold out for 8 month ahead. They wouldn’t cry long.

Have you ever looked through the paint option book when ordering a truck? While automotive manufacturers might offer only 5 or 6 colours, a truck dealer will hand you a binder full of paint samples. Last time I saw one there was probably about 75+ paint colour options.
Yes the analog gauges are no more.bzinger, kylefitzy and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -

If you want analog gauges you have to pick up what’s out there now. Not much for sale currently. Mandatory switch is mid July. When ordering you can order from a insane amount of colors and where you want paint. Ie. Fenders, top of roof, etc..

...but i agree no one cares today with market situation ...next in line please !Attached Files:

With the mark up I’d ask a truck body shop the cost of a paint job and compare to factory cost. You may be able to get a higher quality job cheaper that way..or even inquire about a wrap
