Actually dude, you should listen, unlike many who answer your questions, a few of us are fleet owners and hire drivers all the time.

just apply, don’t worry about who will hire you, if they don’t want/need/desire you as a driver, they won’t hire you but what you may be missing is the fact that there are so many places to find work, over 250,000 carriers out there plus thousands of local companies.

Well, I teach GOAL, which means get you go under the trailer and check to make sure the trailer is securely in the 5th wheel and the locking bar is closed, then tug test, then 2 mph pull test. In 2 million miles I have not losted a trailer. Your Fault.

Again it is your job as driver to make sure the pigtail is properly attached, securely, and out of the way, Your Fault.

Well, you just admited you hit another truck, Your Fault. So they got the location wrong, still happened by your own words. Your Fault.

So your at 3 accident, I would think by your story it wa in a short timeline. Yea, your probably out of work here, but theres plenty that will hire you.

the question was how to find jobs that will hire me not who is right or wrong in the situation. I don’t know how many times I have to say it in this thread for people to understand that I’m not arguing the incidents I’m trying to get input about how to weed out companies and apply to ones that will take someone with a few things in the past.

I HIGHLY suggest you read what @Ridgeline said in this post.
I echo that same thought. There is no magical database you can go to to avoid pounding the pavement. This is much like asking that little cute gal sitting at the bar if you can sit with her. Some will tell you to (redacted) off, and still, others will slide over and invite you to sit. You don't know until you ask. Again, YOU HAVE TO invest the time! I don't think I can make this any more basic!

You gladly ask him to write on a piece of paper that he took a $100 and he has no more claims. Been there, done that, works every time.

A lot of good advice given on this thread from company drivers to company owners, and he might take the advice.

@ZVar and I don't see eye to eye on a lot of things, but this is one where we do. This would work years ago. Let me give you an example of why this is not advisable. I know several safety people. One such person works for a top 20 carrier. Care to take a guess how many cell phone videos he gets a day? Most are coming from other drivers in the same company showing drivers taking beer into the trucks. You can't walk outside most places today and not be on some form of a video system. I have even seen small cams hidden in drop yards. You might get by with it. But if you do this and don't turn it in, pray nobody got video!!!

I'm not trying to make fun of my swifty buddies, but some of these videos came from cell phones. These safety people do look at these videos all the time. This is why I highly recommend you not fix anything like that.

That won't prevent you from getting fired for not reporting the wreck though. For an O/O, sure it's not bad advice. For a company driver though... Well I'd not risk my job over that.
