Turns out the truck we needed to recover was sitting in the dock at bailys in houston. Another driver somehow recovered it somewhere in texas an dropped it here at bailys. A move dispatch managed to arrange. The messages were still in the Qualcomm. 1st message from original driver that quit on 06/09. Truck 1085 available for work. Dispatch then sent the guy load info for orange tx to mt vernon il. 2nd message from said driver was : I quit , you can come an get your truck. Then Kenny sent a message saying are ya sure this is how you want to handle this?. That's the end of the communication trail. I vote that the guy is a real piece of work for abandoning the equipment and Basically quitting under a dispatch. You would be a long time trying to attempt to convince me otherwise. No excuse imo for not retuning equipment to your employer where you originally got it from or to a designated approved place by said employer.

I believe if i were kenny my 1st response woulda been : You know that I'm gonna put an equipment abandonment and quit under dispatch remark on your Dac right? Then if the guy would've still said i quit then i would've said ok I'll see ya in court for the recovery cost and I'll be sure to mark all this down on any job reference requests we receive.

I mean it doesn’t matter what’s going on. You have to be a stupid moron to quit under dispatch. You just signed your death warrant for your trucking career

Wow.....what a piece of work there. It isn't like we don't run in and out of Missouri. He could've ran that load to Mount Vernon and came back to Union. Oh well. Some people have no honor.

We're both getting loaded at exel in la porte. Probably take both loads to craftsmen an then bobtail to the yard.
