Truckstops going down hill?

The chemical toilet is a nice addition.
I had one when I was driving.

ive seen several Wendy’s and other fast food places near me close after lunch because they can’t get workers.

and I don’t blame the workers, the fedgov is paying them $550 a week to sit at home . Who would go and work all Week for $300 then you can make twice that at gone ?

 

I blame workers or anyone willing to sit at home and get paid instead of working. Where your pride and self reliance. Shame on you​

 

More of the states are dropping the extra Feds unemployment bonus and are requiring verified job searches. Those sitting on the fence will soon have to get out and get some type of job. Maybe as a safety observer in an autonomous truck.

Here in Dorksboro (greensboro), we HAD coupla truck stops.
A Union 76 on Chimney Rock Road at I-40 Bus. and a something (maybe a 76) on Old 421 (a mick dogs took over the lot (ain't seen any lizards).
Dumbsboro city clowns decided "Truck Stops Draw The Wrong Type Of People"!
Strip Clubs and "pole" dancers were preferred.

 

I carried Sardines in mustard , bread.
A truckers dream come true.

 

The one you mentioned on old 421 is too far before my time, but I asked my uncle about it. He says it's not the old Piedmont you're thinking of, is it?

Mcdonald's food, while not my favorite, is tightly controlled from start to finish. If one ever finds themselves unsure of food quality in a particular area, it is my belief that McDs food is secure.

If it's not, it would likely have to be the staff of the location that was at fault.

I realize this is a bit off topic, but good to have in mind as we approach stranger and stranger times.

Fresh fruit and veggies or frozen and a gas grill. Some lamb, beef and pork. How any of you are not dying of high blood psi and cholesterol eating nothing but salted canned crap, full of preservatives and junk is amazing.
