The paint color is probably already in their book only with a different code. Or take the code you have and cross reference it for a DuPont code. If you want stripes and stuff you may have to do that once it hits the dealer. It’s tough getting anyone to do a multicolor paint job anymore since the EPA limits their emissions from the booth.

Trucks are sold out well into 2022 if you want to sit down and order one unless you can find one somewhere that isn’t spoken for yet. I believe as long as it’s more than 12 weeks out you won’t get hit with a change order fee for making changes.

And yes it will have the screen in front of the steering wheel instead of gauges

They will paint any code you want, just charge more. Not sure on the price now, used to get mine custom for $900 per 10 trucks.

They will paint it any color you want and if you want “off menu” colors they charge a lot unless you are buying in quantity.

I was pissed off at a few of my drivers when they got their trucks about 8 years ago, I ordered robins egg blue in anticipation of getting a rather large customer, their fleet was this color. Well the deal fell through and I just got the trucks and moved on. The drivers who got the trucks cried about it so I told them I’ll order new ones with better colors, then an illustration of the trucks with the new colors were put in their bi-weekly paper work.

They never brought the issue back up.

the colors were what I thought was a great combo, vomit green with washed out pink doors.

When I started with this company in '97, we had a fleet of Internationals, in a hodge podge of colors, and 3 "newer" Macks, one multi-colored, the others in white. Over the years, all they've bought were white trucks, WHY?, WHY??, the dirt shows, the paint fades, boring, blah. This last time around, the boss said he'd order in a different color, I said medium blue or silver....I got WHITE, do you know how darn many boring, white T680's are the on the road, a boat load. The one other boss agreed with me, why not a different color, but her opinion wasn't asked. Three days before my truck was ordered, boss sent me a text with a red T680 and a black grille, he asked if I wanted the black grille, I said only if the truck was blue, silver or red, I got a white truck, with a chrome grille. WHY!!

His logic, at least according to the salesman, white has a higher trade-in/resale value. I'm seriously contemplating hitting a post, pole, or something of a different color, just to break up the white landscape.

Oh, back on topic, yes, they will paint it whatever color you want.

I have some experience with this at Kenworth but I understand Peterbilt is the same, you can bring them paint chips and they will match it you will have better luck with solid colors than metallic. the best option is to get the Dupont code to the color you want and give it to them the problem is the Imron paint codes do not cross to the rest of the paint manufacture world you will need to walk into a Dupont/Imron dealer and have them look up the codes and not every Dupont code that represents a cars factory color is going to cross to Imron this is mostly the case with metallic and pearls.
What I have found in the metallic and pearls that are offered at the dealer are on the muddy side of the color chart if you want the brightest shades of a color you need the factory Imron Metallic color book they cost over 1000.00 so not many paint suppliers have them I got the California rep to Fedex me the book then I took a pics of every page and sent it back so I am set for picking colors for awhile, witch colors did I use?

Casino Purple is pretty “bright” as far as purples go.
