One of my favorites is heading east on I90, climbing Lookout in Idaho with perfect roads, to be met with hard packed snow the minute you get to the top/Montana border, for the trip down.

If you want a heck of a mountain climb, take route 54 in Pa from i80 and make your way through the small towns and huge inclines working over to i81....that will give your engine a workout going up, and then it's a 20mph truck speed limit for some of the steep grades.....

In W Va I went around a curve so bad that I knocked out my taillight with the Headlight

It's not the best, but not the worst either. It will make you work a little, in more ways than one. And the co driver in the back has to work at sleeping also. -
