Hi guys,
I have a Cummins ISX 2012 I having low fuel pressure sensor code. It stalls on low RPM but it is good on highway Alain it stalls on up hill when heavy, I changed following things but it did not fix the fuel pressure sensor, changed fuel regulator solenoid,
I changed fuel rail pressure relive valve, changed one of the injector and ECM but still Sam issue any Idea what needs to be looked into.

Fuel filters. Fuel pump.
How many miles?Midwest Trucker and beastr123 Thank this. -
Injectors, fuel pump is electronic. Works or dont
-
High pressure pump is not electronic.
These Pumps are well know to cause issues.
If it is the pump coming apart you have probably screwed engine if it is so bad that it is stalling.Last edited: Jun 18, 2021
Magoo1968 and jamespmack Thank this. -
Was this one of those ISX engines with the ceramic fuel pump plungers? If it is I'd look at that before the engine becomes a literal boat anchor.
shooter19802003 Thanks this. -
Maybe you have a clogged fuel filter? Maybe the fuel lines are going bad?
drivinhome Thanks this. -
I don't know the specific on the engine but I'm driving a 12 t800 with isx now.
And what do you know about the oil leaks? This block has the same da-- leak in the exact same spot the 05 w900 had i drove 12 years ago. Warped timing cover. -
Even the upgraded steel pistons should be replaced by 600 000. It's much better to rebuild the pumps then waiting for a failure. They have a habit of wiping out the entire engine.
The isx 2250 all came from factory with the ceramic pistons. Apparently some of the early 2350's randomly ended up with the old ceramic pumps.drivinhome and snowwy Thank this. -
