Was hauling Landstar load and subscribed to the savings plus programm.
    • Two-day, electronic payment on the SavingsPlus® settlement card at a low rate of 1.5%
    • Discounts on fuel and special perks at most national fuel retailers
    • FREE fueling transactions with Landstar SavingsPlus®
    • Discounts on tires at Continental, Michelin, and Goodyear brands
    • Discounts on parts and labor at MHC Kenworth
    • Discounts with Red Roof Inn and Sprint

They send me a comdata card I can use for fuel purchase or transfer the money to my bank account.

At TA fuel is 5-6 cent's cheaper then trough NASTC.

I work in the back office for a small fleet company (5 trucks). We joined NASTC because of the fuel savings but their customer service is the worst. Once we paid the annual fee, the salesman disappeared and we never heard from him again. NASTC does not return phone calls or emails so I do all our correspondence through the EFS/WEX portal (they are awesome to work with). And, as with any new program, there is a learning curve and some training to use the website which NASTC does not provide. Yes, we save money on fuel at certain locations, but you have to know where to go and where not to go. Bottom line: you'll save money with NASTC but their customer service stinks. Also, I'm thinking about getting a 2nd fuel card that will cover Love's and other stops since our drivers are all over the 48 and NASTC is TA/Petro. I may also get the fuel card directly from EFS because I don't have any substantial proof that I can't get the same savings on my own without going through NASTC since they don't answer emails or return calls.

NASTC can be used at Love’s but you don’t get a discount…I’ve had to a time or two just for a splash and go.

I dumped nastc and went to transconnect services. I’ve only had to call them a few times and the wait time has been less than two minutes to talk with someone.
If you do loads for landstar, then check into getting their card. Xpo also has one with decent discounts.
