Even .41 cpm is LOW, Crete tops at .47 cpm as a company driver.

 

First of all Crete and Swift and all these company drivers can get paid a high cpm but hey don't get but no more than 3000 miiles a week at best. Also that driver said he was getting around 4.8 mpg. If he got the new prostar he can get 6.5 and up easily and wil be making at least 50cpm easy. Also we're payin for our own fuel and truck. At the end after trk is paid off we will be making 75-80 cpm or better. So pls don't compare us to crete. Crete drivers will never make as much as we do. For those that run their business right

 

I get better lookin' each day (to quote a phrase by Mac Davis). Nope, I am not at home. Haven't been there in who knows how long. I guess the week before Thanksgiving for a couple of days. Don't make no money at home, just spend it. I will be headed home the middle of next week. Going home for Christmas. My oldest daughter is getting married, and I better not miss that!

Right now I am relaxing in the BArstow TA. Just had dinner with Jarbo, and we must have been a sight to all those in the place. We were having a grand old time swapping stories, and laughing like 2 school boys! My first drop was in Las Vegas this morning, and the second is in Carson, CA in the morning. Then it's off to.......hell, I don't know!

 

Sighs jarbo is working VERY hard lol. At 3pm he was heading south from lemoore ca and now he has made it to barstow. Everyone should admire how hard he drives lmao. Just messing around.

Why don't you post your paychecks so we can see what your earning ? I work for USF Reddaway and make .5557/.5755 per mile and $22.88 Hr. for Waiting, fueling, hooking Etc. I think your pay at Crete is LOW . But since you put it out there And you work for a OTR company lets see it. I thinks all of these guy's and lady's at JCT are doing really good for there position in the Industry.There pay is controlled directly by there operating expenses that they control. Most always miles = more pay regardless of Per mile pay. Can you work that out on your Calculator ?

Here is my last 2 week paystub CRETE driver.

Hourly 21.25 hours at 22.58 = $479.83

Mileage 5150 at .5557 = $2861.86

Triples 2180 at .02 = $43.60

Safety Bonus................. $85.00

Layovers at hotels 5 X $14 = $70.00

Gross pay for 2 weeks = $3540.29

 

Obviously you don't know that in a lease op you want to work to pay off a trk the possibly take the trk and move on to advance your career and possibly make more money. Many o/o out here don't drive a new trk anyways. They have a decent problem free trk to maximize profits. We're running a trking business not a trk show.

Its true there r drivers that would like to trade their trucks in every few yrs when the warranty runs out on it. Still those drivers should be making more than a company driver.

 

Sorry if it sounds rude but we were willing to post our numbers for everyone to see. We don't need some company driver criticizing it and claim that they make more per mile. Its what you bring home at the end that counts. Not the cpm. Swift claims that they pay up to 41cpm too but guess what. Their drivers only avg 2500 miles per week. So there's no real advantage on the higher mileage pay other than your sitting at a trk stop waiting on another load. If that's the case id rather be sitting at home.

 

AMEN Brother !! You guys have a excellent job and you should take Pride That you are doing so well. Those company drivers who can't see this are Just scared to make there own decisions. They are better off having a Training company hold there hand the whole way.
