Is Us 35 4 lane yet from Hurricane Wv to the Ohio line? I know it becomes 4 lane at some point but its also 2 lane for a good 15- 20 miles or so.....is it still?

That 2 lane section is still there. Don't think they will ever finish the bypass. It will be sweet when they do. Looks all but ready to go, then they stopped working on it. Who knows what's going on. It's WV BY GOD!

I think that i68 is infinitely worse than 77....I wonder how many people drove through a house at the bottom of that hill in Cumberland.

I live in Morgantown and completely agree with you. Plus East bound I 68 has the added bonus of that PITA chucken coop. I find them on par with Banning.

Sounds like the same truck that ran across 80 in PA in 3 hours. :biggrin_25523:

This route actually saved me 33 miles, not 65. I had to look it up because I wasn't sure. But it DID add an hour to my drive.

Used to run 77/64 to 35 to Dayton all the time. I lived in Virginia and my company job had a yard in Dayton. I didn't mind it. West Virginians are the only state I've ever been in that know how to drive around semi-trucks, especially in the mountains. Never gotten in my way like the northeast animals always do. I've never broken down. Stop holding your accelerator to the floor. But I've driven quite a few recaps off my trailers going around them 50-55mph curves at 65-70.

I would’ve guess Monteagle in a driving rain coming down backwards at the speed of sound. :biggrin_25523:
