    Dang im on other side of country. Is freightliner the same design as pete?. Why does that cause u to derate when unplugging the sensor? What a bad design . i ran without a coolant sensor for probably 3 months . only a light on .

    I'll buy both. The plug can't be more than $20. Plus 2 gallons of anti freeze. It be around a $100+ to fix.

    Once you cut those leads, you're going to change the sensitivity to the ecm.

    Don't do that. It's the sensor.

    Had a 2016 shaker, ran it for months with the level sensor unplugged. Was the lead harness gone bad. Never had a problem while it was unplugged.

    Cause it reads the surge tank is empty. Which means," OH MY GOD JESUS WE'RE MELTING!!!! WE'RE MELTING!!!!!"
