Thanks man appreciate it. Going tomorrow to take doubles/triples and tanker (they said didn’t have open computers to when I picked up my paper license) hazmat Brian and I agreed I’ll get while I’m going through training after I transfer my license.Lonesome and bigkev1115 Thank this.
-
They ll reimburse you for it. Plus having it will give you better opportunities tooRampageGNS Thanks this.

Oh absolutely definitely plan on getting all 3. Regional dispatcher likes us to have tanker and hazmat anyway and might as well throw doubles/triples on there as well. I would’ve had tanker already but I was given faulty information the school was in mass but I have a NH license in Mass you can take the written test for all 3 while you have your permit but NH you can only do tanker and none of the others when you do your permit tests or they won’t let you take any after you have your permit until have full license. No idea why.bigkev1115 Thanks this.

Well everyone I’m out here in Grand Forks finished the 1,800 mile drive last night area seems decent but I’m not one for big cities so know some would disagree with me. Excited to start this new chapter of life start on Tuesday. If anyone has recommendations on places to eat or see tomorrow let me know. Look forward to sharing my progress with everyone here.
Lonesome and LDYTRUCKER Thank this. -
Its not really much to see or do in Grand Forks. Most of the restaurants are off of 32nd Street or Washington Street. Other than that, its a college town with the University of ND, an Air Force base west of town, and a few trucking companies. And some truck stops that are going down hill fastCorsairFanboy and RampageGNS Thank this.

I hope everyone had a great 4th. I think the last time I posted I was in Floyd, IA. From Floyd, I went to Osage loaded, went to Janesville, and headed to the house. I delivered in Anniston, and did a 3 stop load picking up in GA, and 2 stops in TN going to Janesville. I was hoping to come back towards the house for the 4th, but there wasn t anything headed back to Anniston, but the 3 pallets I picked up. And since the customer will be closed this week, no need to send just 3 pallets to sit a whole week in Anniston, when they could add those 3 pallets to another truckload headed to Anniston later on.
I got a 2400 mile run to keep me busy over the 4th. with 5 stops from Horicon to Baldwin City and Wichita KS, Snyder and Seminole, TX and Escondido, CA. I picked up the load Thursday, and was able to get the Baldwin City and Wichita off Saturday which was good, otherwise I would ve been stuck in KS until Tuesday since both of those customers are closed today. I made it to Snyder, got fuel and a hotel. I will deliver their load today and come back to hotel since Seminole is closed today. No need to start clock and drive 2 hours to sit again. Customer is less than a mile down the road.
I will leave 1st thing Tuesday morning heading to Seminole, and hopefully empty out early in Escondido Wednesday if everything goes as planned -
Hey @RampageGNS wonder if that was you I saw with Davis today. If so I was the ugly dude in the green shirt that saluted Davis. Lol.
