So I had the interview and the road just waiting on my background to come through. Their still union until 2023 and the pay right now starts at $25 and blue cross blue shield insurance, I know it's going to be alot of time on the dock which isn't a bit deal making $25 and hr. I guess it's pretty good. Not sure how much it's going to change with them being tforce. I know the trucks now same that while pulling a ups freight trailer. I don't know how the pay increase is going to work. But I hope I made the right decision. I've been having a hard time maintaining and keeping a job.
Anyone's opinion is helpful. It's not really a question actually I'm just curious what others think.
Sorry I'm all over the place.

Well, one benefit of loading your own truck is knowing it will actually be loaded in order.LtlAnonymous, Speed_Drums and Buffalonytrucker92 Thank this. -
I don't mind working the dock for $25hr. I want and will take the hours however they come. I'm just not sure about the union. They said they don't know what's going on in 2023. So I'm concerned about pay raises.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
TFI owns other union companies, it’s not a problem for them. I’d expect them to engage in good faith renegotiations.
To be honest, I’m kind of surprised you’re still getting interviews with such a spotty work history. It seems like every few months for the past few years you’ve been looking for a new job.autopaint, ColoradoLinehaul, LtlAnonymous and 5 others Thank this. -
I guess I'm just lucky.LtlAnonymous and Northeast Hillbilly Thank this. -
I wonder how many guys have jumped ship since the company has become TForce. I know dudes who floated around from this company or that, then landed with UPSF and thought they finally had it made. And then the sale happens! I can definitely see this company watering down the contract, too.

Well idk how many pay increases are going to happen for me before 2023. I mean it starting at $25 is pretty good. It's the highest pay I've ever started at. I've never had a positive interaction with unions. When I worked at Pepsi they were the steelworkers union and it sucked they were scared of the company and kissed their #$#$#. Hopefully the teamsters is a little better. I only care about the union for the pay increases and the insurance.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
