What's up PP and everyone. Its been a long time. Still putting along with KLLM. Miles are good, and steady. Last week was my best thus far 3800 for the week. 5 loads and 4 were drop and hook with reloads at same location on three of them. But usually my miles are 2200 to 3000 miles per week.

Whats up with the 387?
-
That the truck I just bought. KLLM won't let me lease it on with them 'til my 6mths mark. (Jan 22). Love this truck '06 387, 475Cat 10sp, 355 rears, EF transmission. She runs like a raped ape. Purchaced # Nalley Truck in Atl. for 35000 cash. That Includes 1yr/100000 miles waranty, taxes and title. 451000 mile on it. View attachment 5623

Nice looking truck BB. I finally got time to check out one of those and discovered you can't see the darn hood when you're setting in it. I like seeing the hood, it's just a pet peeve of mine. I liked what I heard about those 387's but I'm scratching them of my "next truck" list.

Cash? So no payments? Sweet man. Good luck.

Thanks everyone, I pulled that money out of my retirement, and I have two years to pay myself back. I also don't like not seeing the hood, but i guess I'll have to get use to it. Other than that its a clean truck, set up almost how I wont it. I need to get an apu and a power inverter.

Nice truck BB - and a CAT motor (PPPR's favorite) - if you need some tuning tips you might want to drop him a line. I just hope yours doesn't have the loose ground issue alot of them have (including the GWH). An APU and an inverter should help tons out on the road, and I'll bet you can't wait to get into a truck with some equipment.
Make sure to set some cash aside for that baseplate, mine hit me for $1671.77 almost 2 weeks ago (lower 48 + DC). At least GA was nice enough to give me a temp tag to run for 60 days to earn it. Then there's the 2290 IRS filing - another $400 or so - let's face it someone actually thinks we're all made of money!
Whatever the case, BB, you've got a good jump on things not having to sweat the truck payment. Paying yourself back is alot easier than dodging the repo man if things get tough.
Pharm still hasn't posted I guess, but he was headed toward Florida the last I heard from him. The GWH lives to haul again!Baack Thanks this. -
HwyPilot.... don't you run a Volvo? Maybe I got you mixed up with someone else.

I linked a YouTube video below that has me and Pharm goofing off a few months ago, you can barely see the hood from the camera's angle.
