Well guys and gals, I'm a company driver and perfectly happy with it at this moment. Give me another year or two of experience tho and who knows what may happen.

To Dabs and the APU? Since all the other guys have pointed out the bennies and blah blah, I'll just say that I LOVE mine. No sweating in the summer or freezing in the winter.

Have a tripac and have had it over a year now. It has been in the shop several times but all the problems were caused by a piss poor PM program. !st problem was not being able to get it cool. Our shop twice and TK twice to get it looked at. YEA TK of OKC. Problem was not getting enough cold air, it was not getting enough air. Filter under bunk had never been changed. 2nd problem, belt going bad and needed replaced. 3rd problem and come to think of it, very 1st problem was htr. HTR quit working. Build up from this new fule had never been cleaned off and had to be rebuilt. Next time htr went out was because Batteries on truck had been replaced but the htr wire left unconnected.
Hope this helped in making a decision

Hello everybody been awhile since I posted anything.I'll keep it short as I have to p/u a load.Well I finally decided to make even more money just by slowing down to 65.I am getting all I can out of this C 15 CAT.depending on the weight and general route I can get between 5.4 at worst almost grossed out coming out of Washington through Oregon blah blah blah.We all know the route, very bumpy. To 6.7 coming across I 10 from Phoenix with 19k.I have increased my pay by about 400$ per week.Somebody backed into my truck on Thanksgiving so if you see a gun metal gray T600 with the driver side scraped up its me LOL! :biggrin_25510: What an a@# h$%^ after he did it the first time he pulled out and done it again.I will see about posting some pics later within a day or so.It happened at 3:18 am and I was trying to sleep after having driven a BUNCH to get there.Needless to say I would have been ashamed if my mother heard me that morning.Speaking of my mom she has been in and out of the hospital again!!! She is very upbeat though and if you met her you would never know anything was wrong. Can't wait to get home for Christmas my son is going to rack up this year thanks to my hard work and JCT's business.I still say this is the best place I have ever worked and would tell anyone who could work here to do so.

I could not have said it better myself.I just hate when you get stuck in a place where its a negative number for a temp outside and you gotta run the engine.

Dang it man I hate to machine gun the board but I have to weigh in on this whole company driver thing.

I came over from Swift.I was a trainer at Swift and a company driver.I can tell you that I make more money here with 99.9% less hassle and bullshizz with a z.Even as a trainer I could not get over 3500 miles per week at .39cpm because there are too many fish in the pond. The longest I have ever sat at JCT is one day.Longest I ever sat at Swift 4 days with no load and no I never have and never will turn anything down.I work its time to sit when I am at home not out here.I don't do the math on cents per mile. It's easy enough I just don't do it.I can tell you this though 1100$ a week average take home is nothing to scoff at.Not to mention I have very little I actually have to pay for.No wife or girlfriend, 1 son who gets anything he wants via ups or fed ex,and some property taxes on some land I own.Did I mention that there is next to no bullshizz with a z? are there issues that come up? Like duh people are involved so there will always be an issue somewhere along the line. However its the level that counts and here it's minimal.Well for real this time I gotta go.

How many trucks over 5 yrs old are (honestly) pulling JCT trailers? Not trying to argue, just a fact. Im just glad somebody actualy put the real numbers on here to take a look at. I dont lease a truck, Im just shocked at how low his net income was.

Thanks again for posting your info, it gives us others something to compare to and make our own decisions on if we want to make the leap over to L/P..
