I have almost two years experience OTR, looking to get a job with a LTL company. However I have an automatic restriction on my cdl. Would I need to get it removed first and have experience driving a manual before having a chance at being hired?

ODFL requires no auto restriction. Others vary. I recently inquired with Saia, and they said it was not an issue.

Right after I posted this I went to Saia’s website, and saw no mention of restrictions or manual trucks. Thanks for replying, think I’m going to apply for them.
