I've ran them that way and never had a problem. Don't know what causes them to look like that. I say run it.
Rideandrepair and John E. Thank this. -
Its an air bubble caused by separation. It might run just fine or it could blow at sometime down the road.
Rideandrepair, Final Drive, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have same on my Bridgestones ...over 100k ...no problem so far
TJB15 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Well I know on my car they do that and I read and been told it doesn't mean anything but I don't know about a tractor trailer tire.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Divit in is a over lay in belts. Divit out is a broken belt. Failure at some point.
Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ, Shawn2130 and 3 others Thank this. -
flip it on the rim and forget about it lol
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I was always taught that an inward depression on the sidewall can be considered a part of manufacturing and a normal appearance. Outward bulges are considered broken belts or separation, however minor. There are likely hidden punctures that have broken the cords. Internal inspection often reveals alot.
Its proly not long for the world under fully loaded application.Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ, Dino soar and 5 others Thank this. -
Next is the buldge between sidewall and liner. Then kaboom!Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ, okiedokie and 1 other person Thank this. -
I had a kaboom on a driver last week at high way speeds loaded. You just never really get use to that sound. Roger.
Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ and jamespmack Thank this.
