Never heard of being paid per round trip.
Anyway, you want more miles and more money, then you must change companies. Just running back and forth to Texas, you'll never be able to retire; at least, not in comfort.

I think I read where Some liquid oxygen company is paying big money for teams

y’all need to get the doubles and tanker and haz mat .

If y’all find the right company , you can
    Make around $100k each .

Get your endorsements and make yourself more marketable. My girlfriend works for a FedEx Ground contractor. She and the daughter of the contractor do 2 trips in 4 days and she grosses a touch over $2k a week. I believe she’s getting 78cpm.

If you get along as a married team and you're at the right company, then you have the best gig in trucking...in my biased opinion. Your job sucks, and that's an objective fact.

Get your hazmat. We get an extra .03 on all miles for it even though we rarely haul placarded loads. At 20,000mi a month that pays our mortgage.

We make .84 base right now and average 5500mi a week. Your miles and rate are much below average. 60 cents was more the norm a few years ago before the eld mandate.
