Confirmed! Severe shortage!

There's issues with other types of trailers too due to lack of building materials to make them.

 

I know where a Celadon trailer has been rat holed !

 

Problem is I don't know if you can even find them for rent right now.

 

I could be wrong but I think most of the people having trouble are folks not yet established with the rental companies. I hadn't tried to rent a van recently but have rented plenty of reefers without a problem. Fortunately there are about 5 different companies around here that rent so that helps. Could always get on a waiting list as they come in.
