At a buck a mile, they won't be in business long even if the driver works for free.

I’m a company driver who drives a truck for a guy that has at least on with another company and they take out their 27% for dispatcher fees trailer using their authority right off the top and then he pays Me 26 percent of what’s left which would before the 73% I feel I’m getting screwed
-
Wow do you need another driver?I work for a guy who has his truck Least on to a company I get paid 26% of the gross that’s after the company takes 27% out for dispatch trailer and authority use,no benefits and they keep all of fuel surcharge
-
How much do you bring home?
-
I get paid 27% of the gross and it works out really good. I live in the Southeast and the good paying loads go to the Northeast, West coast and south Florida, the cheap stuff goes the other way. If you're willing to stay out you can do well, a bass pro shop gift card for the dispatcher helps too.
