    Hey y’all,

I’m driving a 2021 KW T680 and I’ve been having an issue with a ticking noise coming from around or below the glovebox area on my passenger side. It’s driving me nuts and I was wondering if there are any answers you all could give me?

the mouse inside the heater core box is tapping to let you know he wants out.????

as i said in your other posting on this subject, in another thread you started, record the noise and post it...ONCE, in ONE thread, and we will tell you exactly what it is.

    Rideandrepair and JoeyJunk Thank this.

Probably an HVAC actuator. Turn off A/C and blower motor and I bet noise disappears.

A piece of material left over from manufacturing that wasn't cleaned out that bounces and makes a noise every time you hit a bump?

    buddyd157 and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I don’t have a way of uploading a video onto the forum it seems like, otherwise I would. Sorry for double posting- I couldn’t find the other thread. It sounds like someone tapping a pen repeatedly underneath my glove box. It’s the best I can describe it. It doesn’t matter if the truck is on or off, it won’t stop ticking.

This is exactly what it sounds like actually. Except two ticks for every second.

I called my trainer to see if he had an idea. He told me to unplug the Qualcomm from the box and it’s stopped ticking. He doesn’t know why it’s doing that but his friend had the same issue but he never followed up on it. Any ideas why the QC was ticking?
