They say you need a pass port and hazmat. I just got fingerprinted a week ago and am wairting for my license in the mail in case i get hired by another company that wants hazmat. Maybe I'll look into hauling fuel im not sure after this last nonsense with Schriber. I've heard of guys at schnieder 10 plus years with no hazmat and passport. From what I've been told by some of my friends buddys that have been there a little under 19 years and a women team for 22 years, its a matter of what board you are assigned to I had 5533 Kevin Lacomb, Amy Reiss And Ken and he and Amy are 2 incompetent dispatchers you can send in a mac 18 and do whatever it is they need. Your DBL should also get a backbone and stand up for the driver as well. From what I recall in 8 years of driving, it is the driver doing the actual work making pickups and deliveries. Not some punk going home at 5 every night. It does not matter they put whatever garbage on you they have. I remember a few times with Ken sending in my mac 18 at 4a.m. and then calling at 9 a.m. "Well I sent in my mac 18... "Well i didn't seee that.. what a moron. But that why they have a driver turn over and not a dispatcher turn over.

I should not talk that way about Ken and Amy board 5533 but I will just because I was there to work and not and do "staging work" for 1 day before I get a 300 mile run and 2 days prior to my time at home. it started out fine but after it just went down hill.

I have a bad knee and that constant stepping up and down on that high step took it's toll and so I didn't pass. When I was on the truck with hubby I saw many drivers that were grossly obese and I wonder how they passed or that probably they got in before this nonsense. Hubby is solo with them. When first contacted by them we were told that the truck could come home with us and parked at the Pilot which is about 3 miles from us. Well that was a crock because since driving for them it's always an excuse why he has to leave the truck at the KC lot and I have to travel over 100 miles one way to get him. Recently he had 5 days home time and it was cold. I told him that those yahoos in Ia. better not expect us to go back and forth each day to start the truck. Miles have been crappy and those planners are from another planet.

Dear Gypsy Willow I sure hope things get better for you and your husband. I assure I know how frustrating it is thinking a person may actually have something and it goes south. Here are a couple things. I was in the Twin cities when I first started there at the shipping container area in minneapolis. I met a Schnieder lady driver and her husband had the same problem I dont believe he was real over weight, its just the constant climbing in and out after years took a toll on his knees. (both of them) The other thing Green Bay is where I live at 1st I was going to be assinged out of the Des moines dispatch center and I could never understand that. Then it was back to Green Bay and there is also a Mike and he seems like a pretty good guy and understanding. Hes upstairs in Stutevant Wi. at the drop lot. But some other people they just... My parents also have some good friends for over 45years and their daughter works in the office. They keep piling work and more work on her shes gonna get sick real good at some point. I do know from talking with drivers that have been there for many years that over that last years when the guy I believe from C.r. England came over thats when things really started to go down hill. It does not matter what the issues are but when you have people that are really out there to do a good job and whatever it takes to get the job done they need to get rid of people that have no idea of whats its like living in a truck on a daily basis. I wish you well.
Everett Thanks this. -
I just love this. On Good Day wisconsin on Fox 11 news just now they had a segmant with Schneiders gift giving to needy families. And I think thats neat and they should do that with all the money they rake in. But they showed a gift basket. "Family 95" I started laughing.. Never let it be said when associated with Schneider you will not be treated as just "another number"

Does anyone remember how they calculate the maximum heart rate you can be after the step step test?
-
Good luck with your test Gypsy
-
If it is the same as Roehl the heartrate is calculated as (220 - age) X 0.9. Good luck on the physical.
-
Thanks ETCH. I've had PT on my knee and it feels good. Just want to make sure I keep my heart rate under the acceptable number.

Thanks majestyk. Once I saw the formula you posted it came back to me. Keeping my fingers crossed.
