Truckstop.com is a load board, but you must have current authority to subscribe. CH Robinson, Landstar Broker.com, many load boards are available. BUT you do not want to bid on loads, as usually that ends up with people cutting prices to get the load. You always want to get the broker to add money so the load will get moved.

Sounds like a good one for U-Ship. Keep away from the other load boards.

Stay away from bidding, list your truck, let them call you.,

I don’t use the load board personally, but I know guys that do. They email an offer to the broker what they will do it for. You haggle back and forth for a while.

Why would you want to bid on anything? There will always be another guy to come in and do it cheaper. How far will you go? Until you can't afford fuel? Or tires? Etc etc. You're better off leasing on somewhere. If you plan to just be the cheapest truck you won't be in business long.

I would imagine he means bidding it higher than they’re asking. Many drivers can get the brokers to go up a bit on a load they need moved.
