    Eaton website explains it pretty well. I have to look it up everytime I do anything on mine

    Pretty much what I know too offhand. Are you dragging it home and doing it yourself? Once in a while I would see them pop up on ebay, new no cores, but I haven't window shopped for a while. I'm going with a 18913 when mine dies, or I run out of other things to spend money on.

    Wait, you mean it's not supposed to be one thing after another? If so, I'm doing something wrong.

    I have the gist of it I just don't remember what the B or A or AA or whatever means. I'll end up referring to the website I imagine.

    I'm prolly gonna drag it to someone at this point. I'd go 13 or 18 depending what I find with preference to an 18 for crawling out of fields.

    I found an 18 a few months back had just been rebuilt with papers about 3k miles prior before the truck was rolled but didn't have the money to buy it or the have to have it at the time.

    R=Roadranger
    T=Twin countershaft
    L=Low inertia
    O=Overdrive

    18=Nominal torque (x100)
    9=(I believe) design level
    18=Number of forward speeds
    B=Ratio set (I believe B is the lower set and A is the higher set).
