The hiring manager was reading directly out of the booklet (contract). During my interview. He didn't mention a pension and said the cost of insurance and basically said I start at $25. Also their is dock work involved which is fine with me $25 to work the dock is ok to me. As long as I'm home to see my family everyday I'll do anything they want.

According to a poster that went for an interview, the pension is gone. Guys are now also paying for health insurance. Also, corps aren't in biz to handout goodies to employees. A corps business model is to squeeze as much labor out of employees as they can while returning as little pay and benefits as the market will allow in order to maximize their profits. So hence my statement that come 2023, I would not be surprised at all if Tforce did away with the pension and required employees to start contributing to their health insurance.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
