Under Armour makes some of the best "thermals" they call cold gear, but #### is it overpriced ($40+ for a shirt), for a coat I've had great luck with Carhartt and Walls as well as their bibs. (Coats $45-90, bibs about the same) If you don't over wash them they will last several years, and for boots I like Muck (brand name) they are available on line and at Tractor Supply Company, I have a pair about 10" - Wet Suit type material very comfortable and water proof all the way to the top - so warm if I'm doing something vigorous my feet sweat in them in the snow.JustSonny Thanks this. -
Sorry -couldn't resist.
danelady, future driver, Texas-Nana and 3 others Thank this. -

That is true... if you are worried about over idling... team or hire a middle aged woman... I can keep an average size cab warm.
If natural hot flashes are not an option for you... Spicey chilly can induce a hot flash and warm you up... if it is real spicey it will warm you and the cab up... -
Stress brings that little personal summer on for me. I've found it interesting though how in most "no idle" places I can just glare at the security guard and say "I'm in menopause and having hot flashes" they then tell me to go ahead and idle.
FEAR ME I'M MENOPAUSAL WOMAN! (that's my new super hero name)
sweezly1, JustSonny, danelady and 1 other person Thank this. -
oh. This thread was about cold weather clothing. On the thermal underwear....make sure it's all cotton not nylon. Works so much better.
JustSonny Thanks this.
