N14 popping backfire at high RPM

    Driver says at higher gears 7+ during shift he will hear a pop/backfire. This is every now and then not all the time and coming out exhaust.

    Other issue is its losing power and losing pedal response but for a second then back to normal.

    Truck idles good drives good just messes up when the popping occurs.

    Work thats been done.
    New ECM old one quiet
    New engine wiring harness
    New engine position sensor

    Before emc/harness replacement check fluid light would come on then stop engine then shut done for a second.

    Replacing TPS today to see if that helps pedal/power loss.

    just remember, even if you put something on new, it can still be a bad part. New parts fail all the time (sadly). I would look through insite to see if you have any fault codes before replacing a bunch of parts

    Can you put a fuel psi gauge and a vacuum gauge on it and drive it.
