Does anyone have any advise on the 2021 & 2022 Pete 367?

The engine light just came on in the 21 out of nowhere and the 22 hasn’t stopped having issues since I’ve picked it up from the dealer. I’m just looking for overall opinions from other experiences.

Overall i think this is a very nice truck from the Pete lineup. We have some customers that prefer the old school cab vs the new 2.1 567 cab.
But truck model has nothing to do with engine lights. It ussually doesnt take much to get the bugs worked out of them. If you havnt owned new emissions truck you will have engine lights way more often that a 20 year old truck. Just the nature of added emmissions and components to control them.

What specific issues have you been having?

The 21 won’t start after changing the oil filters and the 22 keeps blowing fuses and is “clanky” in the clutch. The noise problem with the clutch with hopefully get fixed with a dampener and I’ve been watching videos on the filter issue.

In general these are really nice trucks though. They are beautiful and get the job done. Im just wondering what other people’s thoughts are on them.

    Thanks for responding.

What engine is in the 21'. Does it have a Maxwell strarting capacitor or just regular batteries. This sounds like a fuel priming issue, regardless I have some ideas.

Is the 22' a Cummins.....high HP? Try having the dealer adjust the idle RPM up to 700.
