Uhoh. I knew a driver that got caught doing that. Twice.

$6000 for Laredo-SanAntonio. Here are the rules (well, they were the rules):

If they get caught anywhere where they are locked in, they are going to put you under the jail. 4 or less, in the sleeper was a little misdemeanor. Slap on the wrist. Something like a $100-150 fine. Laughable. Risk $150 on a $6000 payday, no jail time. The 2nd time was much harsher, however. The guy I know got 5 years for the 2nd time. Plus a little extra for his girlfriend who had a warrant. This was a few years back, so things may have changed.

 

I shaved recently so I look more like a geek than a wild beast, but I’m getting a haircut later

 

The last doe I got in flintlock season. Missed 1st shot and failed to remember to use my rod on the 2nd load. I think she muttered "dumb**s" while patiently waiting for me to get the 3rd loaded. Still curious how far #2 went from the tip of the barrel, but I decided not to try it again to find out lol.

 

Now if they'd pay that kind of money to round them up and ship them the other way....

There’s one thing that I despise the most. There is something that some people do that absolutely turns my stomach. Pity parties. When hit with bad news, you didn’t throw out any invitations to a pity party. I thank you for that.

The flint lock took some getting used to with that split second delay. Move just a tiny bit and your not hitting it. Took 50 shots before I started getting better groups
