You can have ITS disable the feature if you don't like it. I did so a couple years ago.

I need to call or is it on settings? I make it my habit NOT to get on the board on weekends.

Give them a call. They'll disable it for you. If they didn't do that for me I would of cancelled my subscription. It's very annoying and they're piss poor sales leads for the brokers anyway.

You're probably seeing more of it because of the current market. I think I managed to book someone off of it one time in 2018, but mostly I found it to be a waste of everyone's time- especially mine.

It's 50/50. Usually it's something I clicked on that was posted too cheap, but I was still curious enough to look at - they call and sometimes we agree on a rate. Other times it's just cheap, and they probably call everyone in a 200 mile radius trying to find someone that can't math. One time, however, the broker was desperate and said that I was literally the only one that viewed it (after hours post) and gave an incredible rate to get me off the sofa lol.

I'm talking two different things- hot prospects is a tool that lets us see people who "might" be interested in an area. It's not the thing where we can click the load and see the folks who've looked at it. So, say you search for freight o/b Memphis, but not a load I have posted from say, Memphis to NY. You go into the Hot Prospects queue and you might get a call out of the blue regarding it.

Now, if you do that, and click the load, I can see by clicking the number on the post. That tells me who all has viewed it.

    Does that make sense?

I guess I understand if I click on a load and I get a call. What I don't understand is if I do a search today for loads out of say Norfolk for 7/21 or 7/22. And I don't click on any loads, ill get a call for loads out of Norfolk loading today..... they still haven't removed that feature from my account.

Yeah. That's the Hot Prospects thing. I think it's an additional charge, but I'm not 100%. I'd have to ask the boss. Like I said, I just don't use it anymore, because it's just not that effective for me.

Ok. Then I take it all back lol. I don't think I've ever booked anything from those calls. They're usually either from an old search for some reason, or a destination I have zero interest in going. I used to keep several tabs on lanes, but got sick of getting calls for "my posted truck" 1500 miles away.

    PPDCT Thanks this.
