You're handing the lawyers a gift. If you ever get into an accident. Don't do it.

Cruise will work. You have to sign a waiver saying you are aware the Adaptive Cruise has been disabled.

Either buy a truck without or order a truck and not have it. You can still order trucks without it.

My dealer used to disable them on my used trucks but cruise wouldnt work. Now they won’t do it at all. I’ve been ordering trucks without it though as I feel the same way.

Don't know about the older trucks with it but on a new truck spec sheet it has a warning that it can't be removed/deleted by a dealer. Same thing with some CA specs. I'm sure that someone has a program that can do it though.

Only way I can think of would be to find an ECM out of a wreck that didn't have it installed. Swap the ECM and remove all the hardware and wiring. Might work.
Could still cause some problems with insurance in the event of a claim.Jeremy102077 Thanks this. -
My 579 has one. I have taken it to 8 shops and all have refused to remove it. If it came factory equiped its stuck there sadly. There may be SOME 3rd party shops that MIGHT can do it but....its hard coded into the ecm so odds of codes or refusal of repairs are decent.
