Here trying to file this BS for the Vampire state, and wanted to deduct tolled miles on I-90, but I don't know how to calculate those miles that I paid for, I have all exits, dates and dollar amounts that I paid to the Thruway authority on a CSV files that I generated from my i-Pass account and the sum of all tolls is 114$, now I need to know the exact miles traveled for these tolls so I can deduct them from HUT filling, these crooks don't deserve a dime over what they already got.
Thanks a bunch brothers in taxes

A good "round rough estimate" will do the trick. That's what I have done in the past.

I write down the start and end thruway mileage on every trip report, at the end of the qtr, I subtract those miles from the total loaded and unloaded mileage columns. Also, there's two ways (methods) to figure your HUT, choose one and stick with it. It really aint that hard if you keep good records...

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I calculated the miles on the thruway with some simple math to figure out the toll cost per mile, then divided the total dollar amount of tolls by the cost per mile, and the result is the total miles on the thruway.
If anyone is looking for the cost per mile for a five axle, it's 0.24563591$ you can round it up to 0.25$ if you want to and that's with an out of state transponder, in my case I-pass.
NY Ezpass gets a good discount, and toll by mail/cash is considerably more.
Yes it costs you 25 cents per mile on the thruway with an I-pass, and even more with cash.

I never take it and I avoid any load that would take me that way or over NYC bridges, mile per mile. NYC Bridges are by far the most expensive stretches of roads on the planet, George Washington Bridge is 110$ for 1 mile, same goes for Goethals and Outerbridge crossings from NJ, Whitestone and Throgsneck bridges between Bronx and queens are 55$ each way so 110$ round trip.
