    Thank you liteguy and wellgolf.

Liteguy, is the school that you will be attending Sage? If so, then I say great choice. I will be attending there when I begin my training. If it is not Sage, please let me know that so that I can conduct research on that school.

Wellgolf, I don't want to dishearten you but I was told that CWI uses a lot of observation time. That they equip their trucks with a row of seats for other students. If this is not so let me know as that was pretty much the only reason I used to choose Sage. Sage costs more than CWI and is also farther away for me to drive to school. So if CWI does NOT in fact play the 'observation time game' let me know.

Also, if what you two are doing works for you by all means let everyone here know about it and together we'll all dispel the myths of the trucking industry.

    Speedy Delivery out.

Well I don't know about observation time but I get 2 to 4 hour of drive time per day. We have 3 students per truck and I find it just about right. When your having a bad day it gives you time to regroup and get your head straight. I kinda like watching the other students and seeing what they are doing right and wrong. It also gives you an chanch to ask questions of the instuctor about things you see or think of after your drive. We mostly get 2 drives per day and average about 60 to 120 miles per day per driver depending on the trip we are doing for the day. The last two weeks we will be driving mostly down town so our miles will go down.
I'm happy with the school and instructors, but if you want to get your CDL in a hurry I have heard that Sage is a good school. The CWI program is 9 weeks 4 days a week 10 hours a day. I think the Sage school is 5 weeks, but you get more one on one drive time.
Anyway I find you if you are willing to put in the work and try to do the right thing, it will work out in the end.

No thread, I'm not a very good typist and my spelling kinda sucks. I tried to use the spell check used here and could not get it to download. I just try to throw in my 2 cents worth once and awhile.
I have found some really good info here and would recomend reading the posts here as much as possilbe. I have spent some time at the T/A on broadway and the Fly J out in Caldwell talking to drivers about thier companys and what to look out for on the road. I have got a lot of good info that way too.

You are doing just fine. there are other spell check downloads...I will find some for you to try...unless another member chimes in with one or three. LOL

Asking guestions, regardless of what source, is part of what is commonly referred to as, "homework", which leads to your success.

    Best!!!!
