Insurance wasn't a problem as I was with OOIDA. The down payment was only a couple K. I will probably just sell the KW and stay company as I don't want the next problem being down for another month or 2 for some sensor or something like that.

How long before large carriers start laying off people because they can't keep trucks running with the back order of parts? My brother in law has been off for 2 weeks with Heartland Express waiting for his truck to be fixed, and they have no other trucks for him to use. This could get really ugly.

Don't shut it down, drop coverage to the bare minimum just to keep the mc open, it will cost you like $100 per month

    Consumer Price Index Released Today

"Prices for consumer goods and services, excluding food and energy, shot up 0.9 percent in June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported on Tuesday. This increase in the Core Consumer Price Index (CPI) far outpaced what economists expected. This ominous inflation warning sign suggests that President Joe Biden’s profligate government spending may usher in a new 1970s-style stagflation."

Well thats nice, rent costs this year alone are up 7% nationwide, so at close to 30% of most incomes under 250k, thats 2.5% of the gdp growth wiped out

Maybe, but lumber and lumber futures have been falling like a rock lately and the lower prices are starting to work their way to end users, which means construction of new units will likely start to meet the red hot housing demand soon.

    I'm already seeing housing drop.

More rooms and baths for less money then what my house appraised at last month.

I don't know what their square footage is though.

And remember the CPI excludes energy and food .
