It’s probably the brake light switch. Look under dash, above brake/ fuel pedal. I think that’s where it is. Screws into an air manifold. You’ll see 2 or 3 different switches. One of them is for brake lights. Get a new one from Dealer. The part# and NC, or NO will be on the switch. Hopefully you can read the old switch, or get a printout of the parts page from Dealer. At least get a look at it. With any Luck it will show the location, and yours will be in the same location. It probably doesn’t matter, as long as it’s plumbed into the same line. The others are for parking dash indicator light, and maybe the cruise? I forget exactly, but Dealer can tell you. Helps knowing when replacing one.

I see you already checked it. Bad Speed sensor on trans can cause cause cruise to not work. Usually 2 of them, usually the top one controls Cruise.

So I have Jake brakes and can idle up while parking brake is set but no cruise . Any ideas? Was working fine before I replaced the air manifold and all the sensors besides the brake sensor . Anyone by chance have their dash apart to tell me what wires go to each sensor? The number is stamped on the black pin
