Did you see the pick of the 2 double wall drill pipe joints the guy dropped off the side of my trailer? That kinda made me mad. Trailer was only a few months old and it dented in a couple of my side rails in so bad they are useless now. Which is saying something, because it has the heavy duty side rails and short spacing spools.

Yeah. Buy your own trailer and get your own authority. No other way to go imo.

I like the gig i got up here with the people i work with. I pay them a fortune every month for trailer rent and when it needs work done , it makes me feel like i work for swift all over again , having to go thru 500 people to get work approved. Turns a 2 hr job into a 6 HR wait

Yeah, especially considering how much good equipment costs these days.

Yeah, that sucks. The thing that really sucks now, is trying to find someone to work on your equipment. Most are booked months out. Others won't even touch anything anymore because of a lack of qualified and competent workers. My truck is sitting at the rush international dealer right now. Took it in this morning. Pete was booked out 3 months. At this rate, it would be cheaper just to build my new shop.

That is crazy, add that to all the parts that are becoming impossible to find and it just makes this #### that much more frustrating. There is no reason to have a 3 month wait for anything . just pure incompetence by the higher ups that run this country and it passes down thru the ranks to us working folks who are the ones that have to deal with it everyday

With all the money to be made on unemployment now, it's hard for folks to find workers. Plus the good employees are in demand. So they see an opportunity to move up and do so. So nobody can hire or retain folks these days. Sucks all around.

    Start with codes.
Plugs/ wires will do that if they are old. They get brittle just as they come out of the heat sheild.
Fuel issue, plugged filter, weak fuel pump, tank full of h20..
All that will set codes, missfire or lean.
Seen a few valve springs fail run fine at idle, miss under load.
Seen more then few camshaft/lifter failures.
    Always chirp tho..
With no codes keep it simple. If the ecm knew sumpthing was up that light will be on.
An LQ4 is almost legal to smoke and drink...

No codes he could pull up, stored or active.

Fuel filter he's religious about changing every oil change. He gets fuel from literally the same place for the last decade. Guess it could be possible they got a bad batch. I do know the original fuel pump was replaced a few years ago, probably has 80k or so on the replacement now though.

With no codes or CEL I told him to pop the plugs out and see if he could find a fouled one. Along with checking the wires and such. Hopefully narrow it down some. I've got a pretty good scan tool but I won't be out that way for a couple weeks.
