992 miles all legal on ELD... It did require the use of the 150 mile radius Ag. Exemption. Idahofalls, ID to Rupert, ID where I loaded, then east bound and down... stopped for a 10 in Elm Creek, NE

Best NON Ag. Exempt day was 714 miles.

I think the most I drove in a day was from Mount Vernon, Texas, to Effingham Illinois, in March of 2016. I really enjoyed my meal at Niemerg’s that night.

In the mid 90s I used to do Biloxi to Chicago pretty regularly.

Just make the log book say I stopped in Jackson MS for my 4 hour sleeper break.
Had a triple digit truck , but never got over 74, but it would pull 79,990 up just about any hill at 65 or so.
That trip paid $1,200 to the truck in 1995 dollars when diesel was usually 97 cents a gallon.
Did that twice a week , in a truck I had about $35k in , sometimes three , but usually twice.
And that was a good paycheck.

paid $15k for the truck drove it a year and then spent $20k to rebuild the engine , trans and both diffs.

Those are the miles I savor the most. I can't stand being out more than a month anymore.

@Dave_in_AZ must be quite the taskmaster.

I recently delivered to Idaho Falls. If I were forced at gunpoint to relocate to Idaho, that would be the town I would want to live in.

    Much better landscape than Rupert/Burley.

Negative Ghost Rider. If the driver refuses to go home or want to go home, those are things that make The OM go hmmmmmmm.
