Also drive it a few more times. Some codes only show up after 3 consecutive failures.
Knock sensors are a high failure item as others have mentioned. They always wiĺl set a code.
I have never ever seen a coil fail on one of those.
Maybe a cracked plug. Pull em and see if they tell a story as you suggested.singlescrewshaker, cke, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this. -

They are in a bad spot. Under the intake there is 2 of em. I usually replace the harnessand the sensors. I silicone the rubber plugs in, build a small silicone dam to keep the h20 out.
With the intake off there is 2 foam pads, 1 at the front, one at the rear. The rear one keeps crap in. I toss the rear one..
If they are the issue, you will have codes, but it will take a few drive cycles to set. Once codes set they run like crap. Default ign timing...singlescrewshaker, cke, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this. -

1st ride was pretty good. Needs a little more fuel. Pushing 40psi before only 33-34 right now. Still quite a bit to go on the pump. Gonna move the plate up a bit and adjust the star wheel Totally different beast now, almost no lag at all now.
dwells40, singlescrewshaker, Swine hauler and 10 others Thank this.
